About Amy

Amy Kite is an author, poet, content writer, social media strategist and mom of three. After receiving her Masters in Journalism from The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, she worked as the Managing Editor of a travel magazine. Her job took her around the world, and all throughout her journeys, she wrote poetry, journaled and had numerous magazine articles published. Amy stopped working full-time to raise children, but she never stopped writing. She currently writes poetry, lyrics, blogs, short stories and children’s books. Her children’s book “Cancer, Cancer Go Away” received a Mom’s Choice Award.
